Generic hanging file folders often bend, tear, and slide with difficulty. A good quality file folder is worth the investment, and these are widely available. The slits can also fit the Viewable 3-D tabs as well.

I use these plastic pockets to hold projects, papers you need to keep together but must have quick access to, and sometimes I actually use them in binders to hold papers and flat items that cannot be punched. I use these often in my own home.
